Please note that CBP (USA Customs Border Protection) are enforcing the requirements for USA goods returning where the HS# 9801.00.10 or 9802.00.20 is used.

For shipments declared as USA manufactured goods with a value over $2000.00, please note that our USA Customs Clearing Agent will require a signed Foreign Shipper’s Declaration and a signed Owner/Importer/Consignee/Agent Declaration, prior to the release of any shipment. If the declarations are not provided, the merchandise will be entered under the regular tariff classification(chapters 1-97) of that product. Note that at that time all applicable duties and MPF (Merchandise Processing Fees) if applicable, would apply. It is also important to note that U.S.A Customs and Border Protection ( CBP) has the authority to request additional documentation such as a Manufacturer’s Affidavit or other evidence to substantiate the claim for duty-free status.
